We recently spent a week in Flaine, renting an apartment through the HOME INTERNATIONAL agency. The service was appalling!!! First they gave us only 1 key for 5 people. The key didn\'t fit. We went back to the office (in a snow storm), the answer was, why didn\'t you try the other door?!!! No apology. The next day we found that they had forgotten to give us the ski rental confirmation for the store. Again back to the office, but worst of all THROUGHOUT THE WEEK A POWER DRILL WAS DRILLING IN CONCRETE IN THE APARTMENT ABOVE. The people in the office we not really interested, nor do they really speak English. Finally the manager came (a day before we were leaving). He gave me his card to call him - he never answered the phone or called back when I left a message. The night before we left he appeared (45 minutes late) to compensate us - 16% cash return on the sum we had paid.
BEWARE - DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE.. AND IT\'S A SHAME AS THE APARTMENT ITSELF WAS REALLY LOVELY AND COMFORTABLE. Some people just seem to like shooting themselves in the leg;.
